Scoring

1. The highest-ranked participant is the one who passes all turnpoints in the correct order and in the shortest possible time.

2. Participants who do not reach the finish line within the allotted time (Monday 4:00 PM) will be ranked behind all participants who finished within the time limit and correctly passed all turnpoints. The missing distance, measured from the midpoint of the missed turnpoints to the finish line minus the finish radius, will be used to determine the ranking. Distances are then sorted in ascending order.

3. A pilot who reaches the goal without completing the entire course will receive a 5% bonus on the distance covered along the optimized route. However, they can under no circumstances be ranked ahead of a pilot who validated one more turnpoint.

4. Penalties related to signboard photos will no longer be 1 TP but 1 hour. If we find that an athlete did not post their photo on Instagram with the required @ tags, this penalty will be applied.
