JURA AIRTOUR 2025 – Public Information

 

Dear friends, free flight enthusiasts and curious visitors, JURA AIRTOUR 2025 is underway in the beautiful landscapes of the Jura! This hike and fly competition brings together some of the best pilots from Switzerland and Europe, who must reach designated turnpoints either on foot or by paraglider, completely self-supported.

 

Race objective

Pilots have several days to follow a set route through the Jura, optimizing their flights based on weather conditions and physical endurance. Each day is a challenge of strategy, performance, and determination.

 

Weather & adjustments

​

Due to unstable weather conditions, the initially planned multi-day race has been restructured. A one-day task will take place on Monday, ensuring safety while maintaining the spirit of the competition.

A link to the live tracking will be posted on our Instagram, Facebook, and on the official website under the Route section. You can follow the pilots’ progress live throughout the day.

 

Race HQ & finish line

​

The race headquarters will be located on Monday at the Maison du Tourisme in St-Ursanne, serving as the center for coordination, tracking, and information.

We warmly invite the public to come and cheer on the pilots at the finish line.
